Girl Scouts
Shawnee Council began operation of Shawnee Shoppe, an official equipment agency, in 1985. This was in response to the request of the membership that there be a local outlet for handbooks, uniforms, patches, badges, and other Girl Scout merchandise. In another move to improve member services, out-based service centers were opened in Cumberland and Hagerstown, MD, Winchester, VA, and Moorefield, WV.
